So here's the deal. These are the pictures I took while at the movies the other night. We took these with our camera phones. The Simpsons movie is coming out soon and to encourage people to see it, theaters are apparently placing giant versions of the Simpsons that you can get your picture taken with. So that is what we did. The picture of Vanessa and Gideon was taken at Wal-Mart before I got a haircut Sunday after church. Gideon looks so cute. Okay, that's all I'm posting for today.

Okay so there really isn't that much news this weekend. The biggest things that happened was Vanessa and I going on a date and the Seats' boys staying for a few hours last night. On Saturday, Vanessa and I went out to see 'Spider-Man 3' while Gideon stayed with our next door neighbor, Gail. We had a lot of fun and it was probably the first time that we didn't spend most of the movies wondering how Gideon was doing. I took some pictures while we were at the movies, but they were on our phones, so I'll put the pics up sometime this week. I normally don't take pictures when we go on dates, but there was a good reason to take pictures. You'll understand if I can get the pictures up. Last night our care group leader and his wife went on a date and we watched their boys. Gideon was very excited to have some other kids to play with. He actually spent most of the evening watching them play. I was very happy to see that he was willing to share his toys like he did. They all had fun and we were glad that the boys could come over. Corinth Countdown report: 4 days (not counting today) Can't wait to go up. Looking forward to some good chocolate pie! Guess that's all for now. Hope everyone has a great day.

Sorry about not getting any pictures up since last Friday. I just haven't gotten around to taking any pictures lately. This morning I decided to take a few. I would have had a video of Gideon kissing the baby in the mirror, but I turned the camera sideways like I would when taking a picture and the video turned out sideways. So I'm not going to put it up. Anyways, not much is going on right now. Gideon started going to his new baby sitter's house on Monday and I guess things are going well. There has been some big news concerning my job going full time, but I can't really talk about it on here, so you'll just have to call and ask me. I'm excited though, if that's a good enough teaser for you. Not counting today, we are ten days away from going to Corinth. We're really excited about going. We just wish would could stay longer, but the days of having full weeks off because of school are long gone. Here's looking forward to vacation days!

Well yesterday was a fun day of sorts for me and Gideon. On Wednesday Gideon had to go to the doctor for a check up, and had a temperature of a 100. We figured that it was from teething. (He has two more coming in on top. One on each side of his front two teeth.) The doctor also said that he weighed 28 lbs., with shoes, clothes, and wet diaper at the time, so he probably weighs 27 lbs. Anyways, on Thursday he had a temperature of 101 and Vanessa and I decided that I should stay at home with Gideon since I had some overtime. He had a really good day surprisingly. We played most of the morning and even called Granny and Pa Bottoms. He also took a really long nap. 3 1/2 to 4 hour nap. So he slept good. We later went down to the mail box to check the mail and Cousin Jordan is apparently graduating. So congrats to him. I can remember when he was in diapers. UGH, I'm old! Anyways, I managed to get Gideon to wear his sunglasses there and back. As the night wore on, he had a little trouble going to sleep. But once he fell asleep, he was out all night. That's about all for now. And if you're wondering about his hair in the first picture....yes it's a mohawk. And yes I am the culprit. It's just so darn cute on him! Here's the rest of the pictures.

Well it was a fun weekend with Nan 'T' and Papa Walker. They came up to see us on Saturday and spent the night. They got to play with Gideon a lot and he really showed out. Papa Walker and Nan 'T' also got me a new grill for my birthday. Sure it's a month late, but I'm not complaining at all. It took a while for us to put it together, but it was worth the effort. We plan on firing it up tomorrow night after I get some propane and meat. I'm going to be like a little kid with a new toy! Anyways not much else happened this weekend that I can think of. If anything comes to me I'll let you know. Also the countdown to Corinth begins! Three weeks from this past Saturday and we will be headed up to Corinth to see Nanny and Poppy. We're really excited. Hoping for some Chocolate pie!

Gideon got to playing with my old Health Insurance card since I didn't need it any more. I figured it was a good time to take some pictures. The real news however is that yesterday Vanessa got involved in a little fender bender. She's okay and it was the other guys fault. It didn't do too much damage to the Cruiser, but it still needs to be fixed. Thank the Lord for car insurance. Anyways, she's fine and Gideon was too. In fact Vanessa told me that he didn't seem to even notice that anything happened. He was hungry though during the whole ordeal, so I went to help and fed Gideon some teddy grahams.
