Hey everybody! We had another eventful weekend for the fourth. On Thursday afternoon we made our way back to MacTown to spend the weekend there. During our stay Papa Walker and I decided to try our hand at golfing. We soon realized that we are not Tiger Woods. Heck we aren't even Tiger Woods when he was three years old. We were pretty bad, but we had a good time. After that we went to Hardees where for the first time and probably the last, I lost my retainer for good. So now I look like a toothless redneck. Hopefully I can get it fixed soon. Despite that aggravating incident, we had a really good time. We all went over to Nan 'T' and Papa Walker's, along with Nana, to cook out and enjoy the fourth. On Saturday we all went downtown and enjoyed their fourth celebration on the fifth. We took Gideon over to the fountain and he loved that. Later that evening we went to the Lowes parking lot to watch the fireworks from the civic center. Gideon really enjoyed that. We came back on Sunday and are glad to be back. I went ahead and posted a few photos that we took. I'm sure Nan 'T' will send us more photos for me to post. I also put up some photos from the other day where I was helping our photographer. She took some good head shots. Anyways hope everyone had a great Fourth of July and has a great rest of the day!

It's been a really slow weekend for us, so there isn't much from us news-wise. We pretty much just lazed around this weekend. I took a few pictures last week that I thought I would post today since I forgot to Friday. Hope everyone has a great day.

Sorry for taking so long with putting up new pictures. I've been waiting on Nan 'T' to send them to me. I haven't really taken any pictures lately and when Nan 'T' and Papa Walker came up to Gatlinburg I figured she would take enough pictures for me. So recently we had to go back to MacTown for a funeral. We enjoyed the time we had to spend with all of our family. Gideon stayed at Nan 'T' and Papa Walker's house during the funeral and he apparently had a good time. On the Sunday of that weekend they came up to Gatlinburg and so we decided to go up there too. We all walked around the streets of Gatlinburg and enjoyed the nice weather. We tried to get Gideon to take a nap while he was up there, but I guess he was too excited to sleep. Not much else has happened since then. It's been a very slow week for all of us. Well I hope everyone has a good rest of the day and enjoy the pictures.

Well it's been a fun Memorial Day Weekend! Our apartment complex opened the pool on Saturday and so we took a trip down there to swim. We had a really fun time and I took a lot of pictures. We got Gideon a new hat and some floaties to help him around the pool. He had a really good time, but he wanted to go swim on his own. This weekend we worked on Gideon's numbers and he can sort of count to ten. We did get him on camera counting to five, so I figure that was pretty good enough. We also had an opportunity to see Nan 'T' and Papa Walker over the Internet yesterday. We all set up our webcams and was able to see and talk to one another. It was a lot of fun and a great gift for Papa on his birthday. Other than that, not much else happened. I'm sure that if I've forgotten anything I can post it next time. For once I am on time for putting up new photos. I took a few new photos this weekend because I actually had more time on my hands. Yesterday was our 6th anniversary. It was pretty uneventful though because we're waiting to celebrate some time this week. We'll probably go see Iron Man at the movies. Gideon got a haircut this weekend. Vanessa sat him down and trimmed his hair up a bit. I think it looks a lot better. If I get a chance today I will take a new picture of Gideon because it is 'Mis-Match Day' at day care today. His clothes are so mis-matched that Vanessa said it was like I clothed him like I normally do. I've got style too you know. Today I decided to put up some pictures of our new entertainment center, or whatever you call it. Looks cool to me. Anyways that's about all I got for today. Hope everyone has a great day.

I have heard your cries and here are some photos of Gideon. I took these a while back, so although they aren't new they are new to you. News wise we haven't had a whole lot going on, but here are a few things we did have happen. On Sunday Nana came up to visit us until she had to leave on Wednesday morning. We all had a good time together and I had planned on taking pictures while she was up here and then I forgot. Gideon really enjoyed having his Nana visit him and was not too happy when she left. Also yesterday was a pretty eventful day for me. First I found a baseball on my way to work near Gibbs hall, so that was pretty exciting considering that I haven't played baseball or probably held one in a long time. The big news however was the little surprise I got last night. The family and I went to town last night to return some things and Vanessa wanted to stop at Ross before we went home. So we went over there and I told her I was going to the Game Stop, a video game store, to look around. I joked that I was going to see if they had any Nintendo Wiis, which have been scarce all over. She said, you never know there might be one there. I laughed it off and said I would see them later. Well low and behold they had a Nintendo Wii, and so we decided to make this my late birthday, early father's day and Christmas present. We're actually both pretty excited about it. Eventually we'll get a Nintendo WiiFit, an aerobics like thing for the Wii, which is what Vanessa's been wanting to get so we can exercise at home. So that's pretty big news. Oh, one more thing. I got my picture taken with all 8 National trophies of the Lady Vols basketball team recently and posted only one photo, though I had a few more where I was goofing off. I decided not to post them since I didn't think it would be a good idea. If you want to see a few email me and I'll send them. Well that's all for now.
