Well I finally decided to take a bunch of pictures this weekend. So I'm not slackin' for once. Like most weekends here, there isn't much going on. Here's what all did happen. I forgot to mention that a few of the guys from my care group decided to get together last Wednesday night to watch a movie at the Dollar Theater. The actual price is really $1.50. We saw Spider-Man 3, which I've already seen. We all had a good time, except for maybe Travis. He was struggling with all of the little kids running back and forth through the theater. I can't blame him though. It was annoying. So back to the weekend news. On Saturday we were planning on getting Gideon a swing to hang from our porch. Unfortunately Wal-Mart was out of them, so we got him some of those giant lego blocks and we all had fun with them. Vanessa and I had the most fun with them. They came with a pair of eyes that you can attach to the other legos and we decided to take pictures of ourselves with them on. Yeah we're weird! We also bought the game 'UNO.' Now I've never played 'UNO' and Vanessa hadn't played it in a long time. So we learned the rules and played the game and I've come to the conclusion that I really stink at 'UNO.' I think my own son could beat me at 'UNO.' We played Saturday night and she killed me and then Sunday night she obliterated me. It's still a fun game though, but I wish I had bought Marvel Comics' Guess Who game. She wouldn't have stood a chance. On Sunday Vanessa made some BBQ and I grilled some corn outside. I really had to floss after eating that corn! Anyhoos, the food was really good. Unfortunately for Gideon, he didn't have such a good night. He woke up a lot and didn't fall asleep until well after 10:30. Hopefully he'll sleep better tonight. I guess that's all for now. Hope everyone has a great day.

I don't have a whole lot of news to share this week. I would say that about the biggest thing that has happened this week was getting my picture in the New Sentinel this morning. Yesterday I had to go shoot some video about the renovations on Thompson-Boling Arena and apparently one of the photographers took my picture along with the rest of the media. So you can't miss me wearing a Tennessee hard hat. You can also go on GoVolsExtra to see the picture too. Well that's about all for now. Sorry I haven't posted many pictures. It's been a slow week. Well another week has come and gone and I seem to be getting lazier about updating. So here's what all has been going on this week. On Wednesday night Vanessa and Gideon went back to McMinnville to attend her uncle's funeral. I had to stay in Knoxville, so it was pretty lonely. While in McMinnville Vanessa got to visit with family and enjoy some time alone with Gideon. She was glad to be back though. And I was glad she was back too. Today I took a few pictures of Gideon in his new Tennessee shirt. He's awful cute in it. I'm also posting some pictures that Nan 'T' sent me the other day. That's about all for now. Well it's been a slow weekend as you can tell by the number of pictures I've taken. Hopefully Nan 'T' will send me some of the pictures she took when we were back home last weekend. Anyways, Gideon has had a rough weekend with a bunch of new teeth making their way in. He hasn't been too happy, but we're hoping he gets to feeling better soon. Vanessa and I went to see Transformers: The Movie on Saturday night. It's a really good movie so go and see it. You won't regret it. Well that's about all I got for today. Maybe something interesting will happen this week. We'll just have to wait and see. Hope everyone has a great day.

Well we had another fun weekend back in McMinnville. Although when we got home we were really tired. On Friday we left Knoxville in the afternoon and got to Nana's house that evening. We had a really good time while we were there. I didn't take as many pictures as I usually do, but there's enough to keep everyone satisfied. While in McMinnville we got to see Granny and Pa's new cabin. They're still working on it, but it looks really nice. Also Vanessa got to ride Kelvin's lawn mower and mowed Nana's yard. She has only been on a riding mower once to actually mow and that was when she was in high school, so she really enjoyed that. Gideon had a rough time getting used to being in a new place again and didn't sleep well on Friday night, but he did better on Saturday and Sunday night. Nan 'T' fixed her famous brownies and they were really good. In fact we brought some back to Knoxville with us. Oh, one last thing before I go. For Vanessa's birthday, Nana got her an ice cream maker. We're anxious to use it on the Fourth. Well I guess that's all for now. Hope everyone has a great day.
